Website Maintenance Plan

Maintenance Plan Tiers and Services

We offer three maintenance plan tiers—Basic, Advanced, and Premium—to cater to different website needs. Each plan includes core maintenance tasks, with optional content management services available as add-ons or included in higher tiers.

Core Maintenance Tasks (Weekly, All Plans)

These tasks are essential to keep your WordPress site secure and functional, excluding content updates unless specified:

  • WordPress Core Updates: Weekly updates to the latest version to ensure security patches and bug fixes are applied.
  • Plugin and Theme Updates: Weekly updates to essential plugins and themes, with pre-update testing to prevent issues.
  • Cloud Backups: Weekly backups stored securely off-site, with restoration services included in case of data loss.
  • Security Monitoring: Weekly malware and vulnerability scans using tools like Wordfence.
  • Uptime Monitoring: Weekly checks to ensure your site is online, with quick response to downtime.
  • Monthly Report: A concise email report summarizing updates, backups, and security.

Content Management Tasks (Optional or Included in Higher Tiers)

Content management involves updating or creating website content, offered as add-ons for the Basic plan, included partially in the Advanced plan, or fully in the Premium plan:

  • Content Updates: Editing text, images, or pages (e.g., updating banners, contact details).
  • Blog Post Publishing: Formatting and posting blog articles with basic SEO (e.g., meta descriptions).
  • Content Creation: Writing blog posts or landing pages (priced per post).
  • SEO Optimization: Updating content for better search engine rankings (e.g., keyword optimization).

Distinction Between Maintenance and Content Management

To help you choose the right plan, we’ve clarified the difference between core maintenance and content management tasks:

  • Core Maintenance: Focuses on the technical health of your website (updates, backups, security). Included in all plans to keep your site secure and operational. Example: Updating plugins to patch a security vulnerability.
  • Content Management: Involves updating or creating website content. Optional for clients who manage their own content or need occasional updates, included in higher tiers. Example: Updating a homepage banner or posting a new blog.

Why the Distinction Matters: Some clients prefer to handle content updates themselves using WordPress’s interface, while others need support. The Basic plan is ideal for technical maintenance only, while the Premium plan suits those needing content updates.
